I can’t stress enough how important it is for you to understand and apply your league point settings. The point settings can greatly affect how players rank. For example, say you’re in a PPR or points per reception league where players get a point or half a point for every reception they get. This radically makes a difference. Now, players who may not score as many touchdowns or rack up as many yards but catch a lot of passes become more valuable relative to other players that do.
Beyond PPR, you never know what other point deviations a league commissioner may implement. This is why it is essential you look over your point settings and create a customized cheat sheet based on your leagues point settings.
